FESTIVAL 2020
After considerable discussion with choirs, conductors and the Festival team surrounding the current Covid-19 Pandemic and consequent venue, mass gathering and travel restrictions, it is with much regret that we have to announce the cancellation of this year’s Limerick Sings International Choral Festival.
We are conscious that this decision will affect so many choirs and participants, locally, regionally and internationally, and assure you that it has not been taken lightly.
All choirs and participants are being contacted to assist with cancellations and any queries or concerns
they may have at this time.
We would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and thank all our volunteers, choirs, conductors, the Arts Council and Limerick City & County Council as well as Europa Cantat, without whom the Festival would not be now in its 8th year.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back for Limerick Sings 2021, however, in the meantime
we hope you, your family and all choir members stay safe and well.
